Tiebreaker Rules
When players have the same type of hand, follow these rules:
Compare the highest cards in the relevant combination (pair, three of a kind, etc.)
If still tied, compare the next highest relevant cards
If the main combination is tied, compare remaining cards ("kickers") in descending order
If all five cards are exactly equal, the pot is split
How to Play Poker
Game Overview
Texas Hold'em is played with a standard 52-card deck. Each player gets two private cards (hole cards) and shares five community cards to make their best five-card hand.
Betting Rounds
Pre-Flop: After receiving hole cards, players must call, raise, or fold starting with the small blind.
The Flop: First three community cards are dealt. Players can check, bet, call, raise, or fold.
The Turn: Fourth community card is dealt, followed by another betting round.
The River: Final community card is dealt, followed by the last betting round.
Showdown: If multiple players remain, best hand wins the pot.
Player Actions
Check: Pass the action to the next player (only if no bet to call)
Bet/Raise: Increase the amount other players must call
Call: Match the current bet amount
Fold: Discard your hand and forfeit the pot
Blinds
Blinds are forced bets that create action. The small blind (10) is posted by one player, and the big blind (20) by the other. Positions alternate each hand.
Winning the Game
Win pots by having the best hand at showdown or making all other players fold
The game ends when one player has all the chips
Use position, betting patterns, and hand strength to outplay your opponent
